Celebrating its 100th anniversary, the Copa America tournament came to the United States for the first time in history. This tournament was the biggest men’s soccer event in the U.S. since the 1994 World Cup. With 32 matches, 16 teams and 10 venues, Infinite Scale was tasked with creating a consistent look + decor for this tournament at each venue across the country. With 10 host cities in the mix, the design team faced an incredible challenge in developing a comprehensive graphics system.
I played an integral role in developing the design system for this entire event. I then visited many of the stadiums to determine an implementation strategy, making sure each design decision was cohesive across all 10 stadiums. I also created the graphics and installation guidelines for fabricators/installers.
